Why Establish A Scholarship?
Since 1885, The Texas Exes have been a strong, cohesive source of
support for the University and its continued tradition of
excellence. With one of the broadest programs of fellowship and
service of any alumni association in the nation, The Texas Exes
membership totals more than 91,000 dues-paying alumni and friends of
the University. All scholarships are for full-time students
attending The University of Texas at Austin.
In the last ten
years, the scholarship program has grown from giving $420,000 to 357
students to one that awards more than $2 million to 700 recipients
from scholarships established by alumni, friends, and UT student
groups.
If not for the generosity of alumni and friends of The University of Texas, the Texas Exes could not award scholarships to outstanding future and
current Longhorns. Learn more about Texas Exes Scholarships from current donors and recipients themselves...
