Anne Alexander

Anne Alexander

Alexander graduated from Stratford High School. She is a National Merit Scholar Finalist and a Stratford High School valedictorian.

She held several leadership positions at Stratford, including serving as president of the school's chapters of Business Professionals of America and the Academy of Finance. She also served in leadership positions for the school newspaper, the Junior Achievement Entrepreneurial Club, the cross country team and the United International Club, whose mission is to raise diversity awareness and cultural enrichment within the school and surrounding community. In 2009, Alexander founded the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund and helped to raise a significant amount of money to donate to the Red Cross.

In addition to her work through school organizations, Alexander has held internship positions with KPMG LLP and Hoover Slovacek LLP, Attorneys at Law. In March 2010, Alexander traveled to Washington, D.C. to represent Stratford High School along with 28 other Houston students through the Archer Internship Program, where she met with congressional representatives as well as a Supreme Court Justice to discuss the healthcare legislation debate.
