How To Apply - Named Scholarships - Texas Exes Scholarship Foundation

Follow all instructions on the application!
If a special essay is required, please email it as a Word attachment, making sure to include your name, EID and name of scholarship at the top of the page. One page is the ideal length for all essays.
If a letter of recommendation, special essay or transcript is required for a specific scholarship, email it to:

Deadline: Entering freshmen should apply for Texas Exes scholarships by December 1 of their senior year in high school.
You must use the online University of Texas Application for Freshman Scholarships.
The application can be found at the following sites:
- TexasScholarships.org
On the application, indicate that you are applying for Texas Exes Scholarships for Freshmen.

Deadline: Current full time undergraduate, graduate, and transfer students at The University of Texas at Austin should apply by March 1.
Use the online application form provided by the Office of Student Financial Services, "The University of Texas at Austin Application for Scholarships" at http://www.texasscholarships.org/apply/continuing/CSA.html
On the application, check "Texas Exes Scholarships"
Enter the scholarship code: ESA-G

Deadline: Current full time undergraduate, graduate, and transfer students at The University of Texas at Austin should apply by March 1.
Look through the list of Specific Current and Transfer Student Scholarships
Write down the code for each scholarship that interests you. The codes are listed to the right of each scholarship name - i.e Code: ESA-APO
Use the online application form provided by the Office of Student Financial Services, "The University of Texas at Austin Application for Scholarships"

Do Not write the full names of the scholarships
